Paste2Sauce: Spatula and System for Converting Tomato Paste to Sauce

How often have you walked by the tomato products section of your grocery store and found 6 ounce cans of tomato paste on sale and wanted to buy a large quantity of them, but didn't? Only problem is that they are a little messy to deal with and you just don't have the time be removing the paste from the can and thinning it with water, since you don't always have all the tools or ingredients handy, like the "pure" spring water to make your sauce, or the herbs and flavors to make the resulting sauce taste good?

The Paste2Sauce device is intended to help you out. First of all, a spatula (or "scraper") is provided, having a flexible blade and handle, both sized to substantially match the dimensions of the "usual" 6-oz can of concentrated tomato paste, so that the paste can be removed quickly and easily, and with fewer "re-entries" into the can to remove substantially all of the paste. The shape and material of the spatula blade, e.g., silicone, is intended to hug the inner cylindrical surface of the can and at least part of the inner surface of the bottom of the can, to collectively remove the paste from the can, leaving a small smear of paste on the inner surfaces of the can.
